Back from my vacation in the Gaspesie region of Quebec.

Lol I have literally seen 100s of thousands of pictures on here. I just got a metz flash. I'd like to start photographing models thought I'm not sure how to get started. I mean I prob would need inside light equipment for that?

A flash is a good start lol yes, why not try to hit up any of your friends and get them to pose for you untill you get more comfortable with it and as you do move up and set out invites to shot on FB, or on here tons of models around

I'm guessing I'll likely need more equipment? I don't have many freinds who are photogenic. I actually did manage to convince one of my freinds to do it but she was so self concience that she hated all the pictures no matter how great they were.

On facebook I'm a little hesitant I'm competing with ppl who have studios and know what they are doing.

Then again it's only a hobby and I have no intentions in making money with this. Just something to make me forget about the business I manage.

suppose, that is the great thing about photography you can invest as little or as much as you want into it for equipment, time and effort and get the same results as othes, its all about knowledge and how you use it.
Competing??? didnt know it was one lol who knows where they are doing lol I learn something new everday I pick up my camera and shoot. It started off as a hobbie for me and still kind of sorta still think it is lol even thoughts others Labeled me as "Professional" lol
anyway enjoy it
